6 Month Update

I was so excited to post about Halloween I forgot to post about Hayden's 6 month doctor appointment last week. She is doing great of course, 27.25 inches and 17.2 lbs. The doctor asked me again, now how tall is her father and when I answered she said "oh that makes sense". She is way above average for her height, but below average in weight for her height. How they figure that I will never know.

As for milestones, she is sitting on her own, waving HI, grunting/screaming to get our attention, and has perfected what we call the army crawl using her elbows and toes. She is very fast! I will put her down in the living room to play while I wash dishes and before the water gets hot she is at my feet chewing on my shoes. All of which we have tons of video, but no time to download and post. Hopefully someday. Our next appointment is at 9 months to make sure she is crawling and acquiring motor skills, but the doctor said since she is already waving and crawling she is good to go. I never thought I would long for the days when she just laid on the floor and never moved, I think I am more tired now than I was when I was getting up to feed her every 2-3 hours!
