Hayden's First Christmas

I know, I know I am super behind on blogging but I have been busy working so I haven't had time to download pictures and blog. This is the one time of year I am actually busy at work, I love being busy but I don't like that it always falls at the end of the year when everyone else is on vacation having fun.

Anyway...here it is. We celebrated Christmas with the Yoder's a week early this year because Melissa and Freddy were in town. We had yummy Chicken Stacks and Marshmallow brownies and Hayden had her first chance to open presents, but all she was really interested in was the tags and bows. She did get her very own phone that we can record our voices into which she loves! She is obsessed with talking to who ever we are talking to on the phone, even telemarketers.

Christmas Eve we went to Grandma and Grandpa Hernandez's house. Hayden wore the cutest elf outfit. I am sure this will be yet again another one of those things she will hate us for, but tuff. We had great tamale's among other things (I don't remember what I just ate tamales), we played with our cousins, took lots of pictures, then opened even more presents.Next it was Christmas morning. For the first time ever, Hayden woke up before 7 am. Somehow I think she knew that Santa had come and there were lots of presents for her to open in the living room. By this time she had gotten very good at ripping off the paper and putting it directly in her mouth, I am sure it tasted good! Santa brought Hayden Elmo Live which talks, tells stories, and sings and dances, and a toy box/bench that matches her room. By this time Hayden decided getting presents and new toys was fun and was very happy even though she had hardly slept.
Scott was sick so he stayed home in bed while Hayden and I went to visit Mor Mor, Norma, and Charlie. Then Grandma and Papa Yoder. It was a busy couple of days and the Friday after Hayden slept mostly all of the day. I don't even think we changed her out of her pj's. Thank you every one for all the wonderful gifts, I hope your holiday was as great as ours!

I LOVE the elf outfit! That is adorable! Looks like you guys had a great Christmas! Sorry to hear Scott was sick, it's not fun being sick over the holidays. Thankfully we were able to hold off yucky illnesses a few days after Christmas!
