Pismo Coast Village

We took our first trip in our new RV and stayed at Pismo Coast Village at Pismo Beach last week. It is great because it is only 2 hours from our house so it does not take much drive time, but it is still considered taking a vacation even though we saw tons of people we know!

It was colder and windier than we are used to but we went on lots of walks, did lots of shopping (I got a new purse finally), and had lots of fun. The best part was the butterfly park. There were tons of monarch butterfly's everywhere and they would land on you and try to mate. Weird I know, but still cool. Unfortunately we forgot our camera when we went on that walk but I have plenty of other pictures to share.

We are off - when we left Bakersfield it was pouring rain which is why Hayden is all bundled up.
Before long we lost the hat and the socks!
Our spot was occupied by ducks that slept under our RV because it was warm, Hayden loved them and would say duckie every time we opened the door...smart little booger knew they were out there and had to see them.

Ready for our walk...it was 65 degrees which is a little colder than we are used to so we bundled up.
Walking on the pier, Hayden was all about seeing everything.

Still looking around....
Finally, I had to act like a goofball to get her to look at the camera!
Here is Hayden playing in her Saucer outside watching Daddy BBQ.
While we went without showers...Hayden got a nice warm bath every night. Her tub fit perfect in the shower and she had so much fun because she could splash as much as she wanted.

Bedtime - Hayden hasn't slept in her playpen since she was 3 months old...it was a lot more fun than she remembered I guess!
Hayden loves to swing but there was something about swinging with the wind that made her laugh so hard we thought she was going to throw up...everyone around us started laughing too because it was so darn cute.

Scott didn't want us to go near the water...Opps!Overall it was a great trip...hopefully next time it is a little warmer though!
