Easter 2010

This year Easter was fun!! Hayden actually got the concept of the Easter bunny and egg hunting and all the fun stuff that goes along with it. She was a little confused and thought the Easter bunny laid eggs like chickens, but I just let her think that for now. I will explain how that all works later.

Every year my company has a big Easter egg hunt for the kids and this year was the first time we have gone. I am so glad we did because it was tons of fun, and the girls got lots of goodies!
Best of all, it was at a fun park we had never been to so Hayden got to play on some new toys! We got there early in the morning and everything was wet so when she went down the slide her bottom got completely soaked. Not fun, but she made sure to tell everyone that "the slide got my butt wet"!

Hayden did really good getting eggs, she was a little slow but there were so many eggs she still ended up with a ton. She even got a prize egg!

So cute with her little bucket, check out all them eggs in the background!

The Easter bunny even showed up to take pictures! Hayden was very excited but as soon as we got close she decided she didn't want to meet him anymore so Momma and Olivia had to sit between them!

Even Olivia had fun, she loved being outside and talking to all the strangers...this was a picture that someone else took of her and sent to me. I am still bad about remember to take pictures of her too.
All of us with our Easter goody bags!

The easter bunny was very good to the girls this year! Each got a sand bucket with sand toys, an easter outfit, and a toy.

Olivia with her goodies....yeah I know, she has no idea what's going on!
Hayden showing Olivia all the great things in her bucket. This is what her hair looks like in the mornings...a mess!
Testing out the Scooter
Later in the afternoon we made our rounds and did 2 more egg hunts! By this time Hayden figured it out, she was still a little slow but she didn't have to fight with anyone for the eggs.
By the end of the day, she had her scotter figured out and was zipping all over the place.
I can't wait until next year when both of them will be hunting for eggs!
