Pismo 2010

We took a little mini vacation to Pismo Beach in our Motor home to get away from Bakersfield and enjoy some nice weather. Unfortunately, the crappy weather followed us there! But we still had a great time! I will won't bore you with all the details...I will let the pictures do the talking.

Hayden calling to the ducks, she would get very upset when they wouldn't listen to her.
Riding the carousel horses, I think we spent $5 on this stupid thing then realized you didn't have to put money in it and could just push it and it went just as fast.

Me and Olivia eating us some Mo's BBQ. She loves momma's kisses!
Nap time! Yes Hayden is still drinking milk in a bottle, only when she is really tired and doesn't want a nap we will give it to her in a "baba". I have since realized it is a comfort thing along with twisting her hair and have to figure out how to make it stop but it's been hard on both of us.

Scott BBQ'n and talking on the phone...of course!

Yummy dinner time!
Hayden is going through this no pictures phase. She will put her hand up, turn her head, close her eyes and say "no pictures momma". It forces me to be sneaky, here is the best I could do at getting one of them together and I think I had to bribe her with ice cream just to get her to sit next to Olivia.
It's better than a tent, but the 4 of us in this Queen bed is a little tight! Hayden and Olivia take up half the bed.
Headed to the beach to make sandcastles!
It was cold and rainy everyday except the one day we decided to go to the beach. It was still a little chilly but beautiful!

Scott and Hayden making sandcastles.
Olivia hanging out in the wagon.
Hayden and momma, I had to trick her to get her to look at Scott for this picture.
On the way back Hayden decided she wanted to pull the wagon. Her other favorite saying these days is "Let me do it". She sure turned 2 fast!

Just girls...notice the surprised look on Hayden's face. Yes we had to get tricky with the camera.
There was a playground right next to our site so Hayden spent every moment we are at the motor home climbing up...
...and going down! She got really good at it though and when we got home she went down the big slide at Daddy's baseball park all by herself!

Headed to the pier, I think Hayden was wiping Olivia's nose. My little helper.

Our attempt to get a picture of the four of us, pretty good for an automatic timer, a 2 year old that is a diva, and a 4 month old that doesn't know what look at the camera means!

Our last day there it was supposed to rain all day so we decided to drive over to Lake Nacimiento and check out the water levels. Hayden was excited to wear her "binkinee" even though she didn't want to go anywhere near the water.

Scott finally got her to go for a walk along the edge...

...and touch it with a shovel but that was it.

We can't wait to go again when the weather is nice so that Olivia and I can play outside too!
