San Diego

In early June we took a family vacation to San Diego in our motor home to go to the beach, the zoo, wild animal park, and sea world. Well it didn't start out that way only the beach and the zoo but it was freezing cold so instead of swimming we went to more parks then we expected! Scott made an awesome video of our trip but I couldn't get it to upload to the blog so I had to go through the 600 pictures we took and pull out my favorites for you...be prepared there are a lot of them!

Our ride...pulling my new car!

The girls ride! When we got there it was a little colder than we expected. Good thing I brought the girls at least one sweatshirt to wear.

Duckies in our campsite...why did we go to the zoo?

Me and Olivia hanging out...freezing!

Our campground had a great playground that was 20 feet from our campsite so Hayden got to run and play a lot!

Hayden tried a big kid swing for the first time. She only ate it the first time she tried to get off while she was still swinging and ended up with a mouth full of sand.

Yes Hayden put her plate on Olivia's bottom...I guess she makes a better table than sister!

Ready for the Zoo.

Aww, I love that they hold hands!

Olivia wasn't sure what she was supposed to be looking at but humored us.

Hayden wanted to ride all the animals, they had replica's all over the zoo so you could get your picture taken with them. Hayden loved the turtle.

My favorite is the giraffes! The best part about this zoo is you are so close to the animals. I love it.

This is the next day at the Wild Animal Park, it was a 40 minute drive so by the time we got there they were tired and ready for a nap.

First thing we did was ride the elephants.

Then see the elephants. There were 5 babies, this one was the littlest just three months old.

Here is what the whole park looks like. You ride a tram through the fields to see all the animals.

She is too cute, and loves to laugh and smile.

Ready for our tram ride!

It's hard to tell but there are animals out grazing.

Giraffes are again my favorite!

The lions were hanging out on/in the car the whole day. I guess it was cool under the tree.

Olivia just hanging out...like always. She was such a trooper and didn't cry or fuss at all. Just sat in the stroller and looked around and smiled at all the people walking by.

Rhinoceros ride.

Hayden made some new friends.

We were taking a break. It was actually warm at the Wild Animal Park.

In the afternoon's we would go back to the campground and play at the park. The girls had a blast.

Hayden learned to climb up the big ladder all by herself and did it over and over and over again!

Olivia loves my phone. I think because she sees me with it all the time she always wants to play with it.

What the heck mom...this is one of her signature looks.

Hayden's favorite part of Sea World was the Ar Ar's (sea lions). He asked all day to go see them probably because they were the only animal that talked back to her when she asked "what you doing".

Olivia liked them too!

They have a 4D Elmo movie that sprays water, Hayden liked the glasses but as soon as the water started spraying she was over it.

Poor baby, past out!

Sea World also had a huge playground that Hayden spent an hour running through, Daddy was exhausted afterword.

They also had some fun rides...love the self portrait!

This is Elmo and Abby playing with Olivia...Hayden ran from them. Then of course when we left she cried for them.

My favorite picture ever! They were working with "Shamu" while we were at the underwater tank and the trainer got him to pose for pictures with all the kids. Hayden wouldn't turn around for the camera though.

So close, it was amazing!

After a long day, Hayden finally past out with her Polar Bear! You have to see the video for the great Polar Bear stories.

Our last day we went back to the zoo to kill some time. Hayden tried climbing up the elephant but didn't make it very far.

Cute girl, Hayden is trying to be a helper with the binki.

We saw the panda's which we didn't see the first day. Another one of my favorites.

Giraffes again!

On the way home we went to visit Melissa and Freddy, Hayden had fun playing with the rocks in the drive way.

Hmmm...I think this is bad!

They live in the hills of Corona, it was beautiful and Hayden loved it out there but she would get to close to the edge for me.

She even got the help Melissa water the garden.

These pictures are nothing, I will eventually get the video posted so you can hear about all the animals pooping and Hayden talk about all the fun we had!
