Since it's so cold and playing outside is out of the question, I signed the girls up for gymnastics to burn some energy and have some fun!! Hayden loves her gym clothes and doesn't understand why she can't wear them everyday.

In Other News...January
You would think that with all the holidays over and a new year beginning we would be less busy, but that is not the case. We are busy bees having lots of fun trying to keep the girls entertained doing indoor activities when it is a freezing 60 degrees out (I know my Utah family will gasp at this but 60 degrees is cold for us here in California)! Here is some of the fun stuff that kept us busy this month!
I took the girls to see Beauty and the Beast at the movie theater. It is one of their absolute favorites so I was glad they got to see it on the big screen with their own popcorn!
Hayden graduated from her toddler bed to a big girl bed! This bed frame has been in Scott's family for years and he slept on it when he was a little boy. She picked out purple Tinkerbell bedding to go along with it and now her feet won't touch the bottom of the bed anymore!
Hayden wasn't feeling well so I had to take her to to doctor, while we were there I found out she was 40.5 inches tall!!! The first thing that came to my mind was she is big enough to ride the "big kid" rides at Disneyland (my second thought was oh crap that is only 18.5 inches shorter than me but lets not get into that now)!
So of course what did we do? We went to Disneyland to celebrate!! Wahoo, we decided we would try one big kid ride every time we go to ease her into it make sure she likes it and not scare her right off the bat. Her first ride was Star Tours!
During the ride she sat between Scott and I (Mor Mor was watching Olivia) and she held on to our arms for dear life but as soon as it was done she said she wanted to go again...Success! Next time I think we are going to try big thunder mountain see how that goes over before we jump right into Splash Mountain!
One morning Olivia woke up with all these scratches on her face, still not sure how she got them but poor thing looked like she was in a cat fight and didn't remember it!
This is what Olivia does when she doesn't get her way...some call it planking...others playing dead...I call it a big ol pain in the butt! She is getting very strong willed that little princess of ours.
They do a little circuit course and practice different things, Hayden's favorite part is the rings of which she can pull herself up and do a flip already!
Olivia has a hard time watching sister waiting for her turn (I can't wait for them to be in the same class). She usually stands at the door and watches everything going on in the gym and doesn't budge.
Olivia's favorite part is the foam pit. She has no problem jumping off the edge right into the pit all by herself!
One of our current favorite things to do right now is make our own pizza's for dinner. Hayden loves help roll out the dough and then they like to put on their own toppings in silly faces!
Last but not least, you know we are big Condor's hockey fans and with that being said it is a rare occasion when our team makes nation wide news. This month we did for a huge line brawl that included every player on the ice including the goalies. It sure was a sight to see and we had front row seats!!
