Here are some updates on what has been going on otherwise! Both girls got moved up a level in gymnastics which made me really proud. The coach's keep telling me that they are naturals and that they are good listeners which also helps because they do what the coach's say and are learning a ton from them!
Hayden doing the splits! Yeah she could do it on her first try, I was so jealous! She has also perfected her front roll and back roll and is now working on getting her cart wheel down!
Olivia can do the splits too, this is her making a pizza which is one of the warm up exercises they do where you open your oven doors (legs) and make a pizza in your lap then push it in the oven. She can bring her body all the way flat to the ground while keeping her legs in the splits. It's amazing!
Hayden has been in preschool for a month now and she is finally adjusting and not crying every morning when Scott drops her off. She has made some friends in her class (all boys of course) and all of the teachers love her (no surprise there). It is always great to hear that your child (who you hound and hound to listen and behave) is a great listener and very well behaved!
Hayden's school even had a carnival which was super fun! The girls got to go for pony rides which they loved. I was very proud of Olivia because she took off on a horse with a strange cowboy and she didn't even cry until after it was all over and realized I wasn't next to her.
Speaking of which...this is my current favorite picture! Olivia is shy, strangers scare her and she sticks close to us in every situation (the exact opposite of her outgoing sister). She is totally a daddy's girl and will tell you he is her favorite! Scott played in a breast cancer awareness softball tournament and they had these pink under eye things and Olivia wanted to wear some just like daddy. So cute!
Is that a princess I see? Hayden's current favorite princess is Rapunzel. She got a lot of Rapunzel stuff for her birthday, including this dress, the shoes, the hair (can you see the long braid?), the wand thing, and Rapunzel's best friend Pascal (the little green guy on her shoulder). Needless to say we are spending lots of time talking about magic hair these days!
