Last week Hayden's teacher told us that she was going to be receiving an award at school! We were so excited for her and were curious as to what she could be receiving an award for. They give awards every Friday and are usually for best helper, being polite, best friend, most progress writing, and counting to 100. So when we found out it was for "always making good choices" we were a little shocked. Not because she doesn't make good choices but because just the day before she barricaded herself in her room and refused to go to school because "learning was exhausting and she would rather stay home and play"! I guess coming out of her room and deciding learning was more important was a good choice (lol). We are so excited and happy that her making good choices did not go unnoticed!

We celebrated at La Colonia and she showed off her award and medal to everyone!
