Olivia starts preschool!

One goes out, another goes in...well not for a few months anyway. We decided along time ago we were going to start Olivia in preschool a year early because then she could go with Hayden for the summer and she would at least know someone and it would be less scary. Considering Olivia is scared of everything it is still a huge deal for her but we worked really hard to get her ready so she would be comfortable and the whole change wouldn't be so traumatic for her. We started taking her when we drop off and pick up Hayden so she knew what that was like, made sure she knew all the teachers, I even spent a day with her in her new classroom so she could get to know her teacher and the other kids.

So far the transition is going well, she doesn't like it when they separate her from Hayden or when they change activities but for the most part it is going a lot better than I expected but maybe that is just the worry wart in me! The goal is by the time Hayden starts kindergarten in a few months Olivia will have fully adjusted and won't be scared anymore!



First day...oh yeah she couldn't go without her baby doll but luckily the school has made an exception for her so she can always haves friend with her!
