Big Changes Coming

I've been trying to deny it all summer but I can't deny it anymore... The girls are growing up and I am not ready for it yet! Olivia successfully transferred to preschool and has adjusted well and has quickly become spoiled by all the teachers just like Hayden. She will be taking over that role full time now that Hayden is going to kindergarten at a different school! I can't believe the little lady she is turning into!


These are the new outfits Hayden picked for school. Scott immediately said she looked too grown up and wanted me to take them back! Luckily the next day he got over it and she got to keep her outfits.


I should have known after the clothes fiasco that he wouldn't be happy about her shoe choice either. We seriously went to 10 shoe stores and at every store she would pick out the highest high tops and I would say no. Of course I gave in on store number 11 but we compromised. She got another pair of shoes which are sensible play shoes, these were on clearance really cheap and I told her she couldn't wear them until she learned to tie them thinking that might not happen for awhile. Sure enough miss smarty pants learned to tie them as soon as we brought them home!



The future stars of Veterans Elementary! This is Hayden and the little girl next door, they are very excited to go to kindergarten together!


Changes are coming for Olivia too. She got her hair cut short and she instantly looked older. Not my baby anymore!


She is going to have a hard time adjusting to not having her sister around all the time everyday bossing her around. Cross your fingers she has super strength to stand up for herself without her sister protecting her from everyone and everything!
