Usually we go to CALM to see the holiday lights but this year it was exceptionally cold and we didn't have a night to drive all the way out there so we decided to try something different and went to see the lights at the Kern County Museum (pioneer village). It was really cool to see all the old houses decorated with lights and you could even walk through them and they were decorated inside as well. They had a sledding hill, a hay ride, bounce houses, and ice skating (which we quickly bypassed). It was a lot of fun and even though it was cold I didn't feel like I was going to turn into a Popsicle and break into a million pieces like I do when we go to CALM.

Pretty lights!

This was the backyard of one of the houses, it was beautiful.

The biggest Christmas tree ever that lights up to music. It was so big you couldn't get the whole tree in the picture!

Me and my Hayden Boo!

Scott and Olivia boo boo chicken! Doesn't she look tiny next to him?

Scott and Hayden went on the sledding hill, it was FAST. Olivia and I just watched!

They had little light shows throughout the museum that were awesome with lights to music and movies.

They even had a ginormous snowman bounce house! It was a great time. We might have to start switching off between this and CALM.
