Rolling, Sitting, Swimming

Okay...I know I didn't get a chance to blog last week, so this week will be a little long. First of all Friday Hayden turned 4 months!! Hooray!! We celebrated by making her get her pictures taken during her nap time (not fun) and then getting her ears pierced (really not fun). Good thing 4 months doesn't count as a major milestone in the birthday book otherwise we would be pretty crappy parents...yeah yeah pretty crappy (Sandlot). I am not sure why in that order, we were walking in the mall waiting for our pictures and just decided to do it. I will post pictures of her beautiful ears next week, when she is in a better mood!

So Hayden has been trying to roll over for weeks now but has been unable to do it without the help of mom, dad, or gravity until this last Sunday. We just woke up and turned on the Olympics. We were playing in bed and she just did it, all by herself. She must have been inspired by the beach volleyball and badminton....which seems to be the only thing on during the hours we are awake. Just kidding, here is a video montage of her rolling over that day. Of course what they say is true, once she figured it out she did it over and over and over again!! Thanks to Kid Rock for letting us steal the music.

Hayden is also getting close to sitting up all on her own, she is still a little to small for the high chair so we ended up buying her a booster seat that also can be used as a travel high chair. It is so cute and she loves it. It even has little cups for cheerios...I can't wait until she can have them.

Last but not least...we must have went on a shopping spree because we also bought her first pool toy. Scott was getting tired of carrying her in the pool and I was afraid he would drop her and she would sink like a rock, so we bought her this cute pool float. Her legs go through to the water but it keeps her propped up so Scott doesn't have to try to wrangle her now that she is getting squirmy. Like everything, she wasn't too sure at first but now she gets excited every time she sees it!

So cute. Just wait now that she can roll she will be all over the place and it won't be long until she can crawl and walk and then you will think...but you can't be old enough yet :)

She is growing like crazy. I love the pool float, it is awesome. Just wait till she figures out that she can get things by rolling to them. Ha! Ha!
