Hernandez Family: 15 Fun Facts about our 15 Month Old

Hayden will be 15 Months old on July 15th...crazy how fast time goes by! She is growing and changing so fast that it is hard to keep up the blog with all the cute and funny things that happen around here everyday. Here are 15 fun facts about Hayden right now in no particular order.

1. She loves to eat! Barbie her babysitter says Hayden eats almost twice as much as any of the other kids and never leaves anything on her plate or turns her nose up to anything...she loves to eat. Some of her favorite things are pizza, any kind of fruit, and spaghetti!

2. She is talking so much, she can pretty much repeat anything you say which means we need to be more careful not to say naughty words like NO. Otherwise she will start saying it a million times. Some of my favorites are WOW (with big eyes), Love You, and Mwwwuaa like a kissing sound.

3. Her favorite song is Old McDonald. She loves to make the animal sounds and say the E-I-E-I-O part but it always comes out E-I-O.

4. She loves to play outside. She doesn't care for TV much and will watch the first few minutes of Mickey Mouse Club or Backyardigans when they are singing and then she moves on to something else.

5. Her favorite color is blue, or it is the only color she knows how to say but if she sees something blue she points it out and says BUUU? in the form of a question, just to make sure she is right and most of the time she is.

6. She knows where her eyes, ears, teeth and belly button are. She also knows that there is a baby in momma's belly button...or she thinks they are the same thing. I am not quite sure about that one yet.

7. She still loves shoes, but doesn't keep them on very long. As soon as we get in the car, or to our destination the shoes come off. She even took them off at the dentist office last week, within 5 minutes she sat down, took her shoes off and put them in my purse.

8. She only likes to drink water and milk no juice, if you put juice in her sippy cup she will give you a dirty look, say yuck and hand it back to you.

9. She loves to make animal sounds, so far she knows Cow, Pig, Dog, Cat, Duck/Bird, and Bear.

10. She gives dirty looks. If you make fun of her, laugh at her, or say something she doesn't understand she will tell you how she feels about it just by the look on her face.
11. She is a neat freak...I wonder where she got that from? She will pick up the smallest piece of paper from the floor, she will pick up every leaf from the grass and bring it to me then wipe her hands together to get the dirt off. She also has to make sure that every drawer and door that is supposed to be closed is closed otherwise she will say AH-OH and make it her mission to close it.

12. She loves to give hugs and kisses and knows that if she gives hugs and kisses then asks for something she will most likely get it!

13. She is independent and head strong. Her and I both had runny noses recently and she decided she could wipe her nose herself. She does a pretty good job, not perfect, I am just impressed she tries. Now it has become wiping her face while we eat, she has to have a napkin and she uses it often.

14. She likes to play hide and seek/peek a boo. To her they are the same game. She gets a kick out of hiding from momma and having momma go crazy looking for her when she was hiding under the bed or behind the dresser. Spaghetti and Peek a Boo...bad idea!

15. She knows that there is a picture of Scott on the fridge and every time she walks by, she points to it and says DaDa DaDa. On days when he is not around she will go to the fridge and blow kisses to it...sooooo cute!
