Easter (I know seems like so long ago) was a very busy weekend! It was the weekend the Melissa and Freddy got married and so we were just recovering from all that fun (and Olivia being sick) and had family in town and lots of fun stuff to do.
First, we went to Tia Marie and Uncle Lucio's house for an egg hunt with our cousins.
The kids had a great time playing on the swing set waiting patiently for the hunt to begin.
Ok, so they couldn't wait anymore. In order from smallest to tallest.
Olivia got to go first but she was just strolling along not worried about finding eggs quite yet.
The big kids, that is a whole other story they were looking high and low racing to see who could find the most eggs.

So remember that during Melissa's wedding Olivia got the flu and threw up the whole time? Well low and behold at 5 am on Easter Sunday Hayden started throwing up. The Easter bunny had barely made it to our house by that time.
By the time Olivia woke, Hayden was feeling well enough to see what the Easter Bunny had brought and the girls were excited to look through their baskets.
Hooray for happy girls, even if they are sick!
Oh-no...this doesn't look good! I have I mentioned that I don't do throw up?
So unfortunately/fortunately this is how we spent our Easter and the next two days. All of us ended up with the flu so we never did have our Easter egg hunt, or dye eggs. In fact it is all still sitting on my counter. Maybe we will do it Memorial Day weekend!
