I know I am early with my "In Other News" again but the next two weeks are going to be super busy and I am afraid of getting behind on my blogging so the earlier the better. Here is some random stuff going on with us this month!
First, we have officially stopped potty training Olivia. She did really good and would go every time we put her on the potty but she hasn't figured out how to hold it in between yet. So five minutes after going she would be wet again so we are delaying it another month or so and will try again. Second, my children are addicted to YouTube!! I am not proud to say that both girls not only know how to work our phones and Ipad, they know how to get to YouTube and watch their favorite video's without assistance! This was me asking Olivia what she was watching to which she replied "Hotkey Fights" without even looking at me!
Horrible, Horrible, I know! Hayden on the Ipad, Olivia with a phone. They love to watch the Glee video's, Hockey Fights (yes just the fights), random people singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", and videos of the rides at Disneyland. All things I have approved and saved into my favorites which they know how to get to. Some people might think how great they are advanced and know how to figure things out, that's a good sign. Maybe, but recently when I made a no more YouTube rule they both freaked out like it was the end of the world!!
Olivia is fascinated with teeth lately. I am making a prediction that she is going to be a dentist or hygienist when she grows up. She likes to pull your mouth open and say "ahhhh" with you so she can get a good look into your mouth and at your teeth to which she will reply "hmmmm" like she sees trouble in there.
She also uses it as a chance to practice counting...she was counting my teeth at hockey. I just hope I didn't have any food in them.
Just because I was curious I asked Hayden what she wanted to be when she grew up, her first response was movie star like Dorothy. Why am I not surprised she's got the paparazzi pose down!!
Then she decided a Princess might suit her better because she could help and cook for people like Snow White.
Then it was a RockStar!! I think she could do all of the above on this one...she has got the personality for sure!!
