We Voted!

Sometimes having an inquisitive child is a blessing sometimes its a curse just depends on what the subject at hand is (do you remember the whole space shuttle debacle?).  In this case I am very proud to say that both our girls know who is running for president (their names and what they look like)!  I don't think I could tell you that when I was 3-4 years old...however after watching the debates as a family and Scott yelling at the TV a lot, both girls started asking questions about the election and how voting worked.  I even caught Hayden watching clips of Obama and Romney speaking on the Ipad and when I asked her what she was doing she said she just liked to hear them talk and decided which candidate she would choose.  So today we all went and voted together, they understand you have to be 18 to vote but I told them they could come and help us vote which they did!  This is one thing I am proud to say they are curious about....just don't ever mention the space shuttle in their presence...please...and thank you in advance!
