January Randomness

I am way behind on blogging but that isn't much of a surprise... The new year has had us quite busy. We started it off with the flu x4, then Olivia had an ear infection, then Hayden got the 24 hour stomach flu, Olivia's ear infection didn't go away, then Hayden got an ear infection, and Olivia's ear infection still hasn't gone away. We have been to see the pediatrician more this month than we did almost all of last year... It has been a long month already but that didn't stop us from having some fun too! Here's is a look at all the random stuff we did so far this month!

We spent New Years eve with our cousins, these girls are going to be trouble someday. The world better watch out!

We spent New Year's Day watching the rose parade and eating pink flower pancakes.

Hayden asked to play dress up and this is what she came up with, apparently princesses are out and hockey players are in!

These girls love to play "mommy" I have no doubt the will be awesome momma's one day!

Olivia likes to keep it cool wearing her sunglasses even when it's pitch black outside.

We had a long hockey weekend so I let the girls have condors tattoos on their cheeks..this is them giving me their "tough guy" look!

The tattoos turned out to be good luck because we broke our losing steak and won both games that weekend.

Hayden is not a morning person, she gets carried from her bed to my bed in the mornings and she hates it if the lights are on. Luckily we found a way to get around that.

Olivia on the other hand is an early riser. Everyday this week she was up before me (and I try to drag myself out of bed by 5:45) and ready to play, get dressed, and get to daycare all before I even finish my shower...uhg morning kids!

Olivia and I had a date night and she decided she wanted to go to juicy burger and the dentist, sadly I am unaware of any dentists open at 6:30 pm but I promised her a trip to get her teeth checked soon.

Yeah so if you didn't know this already I am afraid that Hayden is definitely going to be taller than me at least I have a few more years before that happens I am hoping she can hold out until the 2nd grade before she can borrow my shoes! I think I might have a chance with Olivia and she will hold out until 9th grade!

We snuck in a trip to Disneyland, it was super busy but we still had fun playing at Goofy's playground.

The second day wasn't as bad and rode a few rides. I love that they put their hands up!

I also loved this picture of the girls in front of the castle.

And last but not least...Hayden got an award at school for "always being a good friend". According to her teacher she has been very welcoming and makes sure to include any new kids in playtime and recess. For a reward we went to Dewars and had Sundays! We are so proud of the special girl she is becoming!
Phew, that was a lot of stuff I am exhausted just writing about it! Now onto new adventures!
