On the bus! Check that off the list, got to go on a bus ride!

The shuttle is housed at a science museum so there are different "sciencey" areas....of course there is air and space!

There is the ecosystems, the aquatic ecosystem was are favorite with a kelp forest and tide pools and this strange guy swimming in the tank!

We also learned about the human body. Did you know dolphins brains are almost the same size as humans?

There was also a discovery zone where you could dress up and play and learn about different jobs.

This was are first trip without a stroller I was worried the girls were going to get tired and grumpy having to walk ALL day but they did exceptional and loved riding the escalator!

My favorite part of the day...the girls pretending to be astronauts!

This one cracked me up....I have no idea what Olivia is doing in this picture but its funny!

They had little pretend shuttles you could ride on too!

We also saw an IMAX 3d movie about the Hubble space station that was amazing. The pictures from the Hubble are gorgeous!
Then came the moment we waited all day for.... The shuttle. It was right there!

Hayden was so happy and overwhelmed she started crying. She said she waited forever to see the shuttle and she couldn't believe it was actually happening! I love that little girl!

One of the engines that powers the shuttle.

Hayden looked at all the pictures and wanted to know what everything said!

It is so big and beautiful, these pictures don't even do it justice!

The back end, in this picture you can see all the tiles. They are each numbered and are what keeps the astronauts safe when they are going through space!

Scott's favorite part of the shuttle, it's hard to read but says "cut here for emergency exit!

Happy girls getting to see the shuttle!

I am so happy we got to have this experience it was amazing! If you get the chance you should plan a trip while its still there and see it for yourself!
