Mickey's Halloween Party 2011

Having annual passes to Disneyland has been one of the best things we have ever done. It allows us to go more than we would otherwise, but the benefit of that is that every time we go we take our time, we do something new, we eat somewhere new, and we get to enjoy all the aspects of the park without rushing and over doing it. One thing we thought would be fun this year is Mickey's Halloween Party, we had to buy a separate ticket but we got to see all the wonderful Halloween decorations, dress up (which we normally don't do), trick or treat, and experience a special parade and fireworks show.

Family Photo 2011So cute!! They were so happy to be there but had no idea they were going to get to dress up and trick or treat yet!

High Fives for Disneyland!

Isn't she cute, she rode the carousel all by herself (that is me on the right of her just in case).
The girls got their faces painted with spooky skeleton's!
Another cute one...I love that they hold hands and walk through life together!
Haunted Mansion is decorated for the Nightmare Before Christmas, we took the girls on it for the first time but told them it was a Halloween Mansion. They didn't get scared at all and actually asked to ride it again...wahoo!

For the Halloween Party Hayden dressed up as Cinderella....yes she has glow bracelets on her ears!

Olivia dressed up as Princess Belle. Trick or treating was so much fun! They handed out good yummy candy and lots of it, we came home with enough candy to re-gift on Halloween night (only because I don't want to eat it all myself). We also got to see some of the characters, Hayden was so excited to see Woody.
But was more excited when we were in line to see Mickey and Minnie!
Olivia wasn't so sure. She was happy to see them but didn't want to get to close.

Halloween 2011

While we waited for the parade they were playing lots of fun Halloween music. The girls got out on Main Street and were dancing it up. It was so cute. People passing by were cheering them on!The start of the parade, all the characters and people were dressed in costumes. It was so fun!
Have you seen Waldo? We got to see some really amazing costumes too!

The grand finale was a fireworks show over the castle, it was all spooky and scary but so fun! I can't wait to go back next year!
