It's hot here! Everyone on the other side of the US is complaining about a heat wave and the 100 degree temperatures that can fry eggs on the side walk and it makes me think they have never been to Bakersfield. Try 105-110 degrees on a daily basis, then let me hear you complain. There is really only one thing to do with weather like that (besides stay inside) and that's swim. Too bad our pool is so warm that it feels like bath water most days...that is why we usually only swim in the evenings after dinner when it starts to cool down and the pool is shaded. This has become a daily routine with us...well with Scott. I am not a big fan of swimming and getting wet and splashed plus I am too much of a nervous Nelly I have anxiety attacks every time they walk to the edge and jump in without counting to 3 so Daddy takes the girls swimming!
Hayden is a pro...well with her float on anyway. She swims laps and cries when it's time to get out!
Jumping in! Yes she is a pro at this too. Does it on her own without anyone there to catch her...she doesn't even count anymore...just jumps!
This was Olivia at the beginning of the summer...she just liked to watch. She screamed anytime you forced her near the water.
Well it didn't take long and now she loves the water too. Her favorite thing is to float on her back and chillax.
She is even jumping in now too...but needs Daddy to catch her...but she doesn't count either!
